I was silly enough to get married right out of high school. Since we were too young, it didn't last. Best thing about that marriage were Kerri, who is now working for Kinder Morgan in Denver, and Don who is a Polk County Deputy Sheriff here in Oregon. I then married Randy Hofferber in June of 70 and we were divorced in Dec of 85. We had 3 beautiful daughters. He was the love of my life, but unfortunately, I wasn't his. I married Paul Ratsch Aug of 91 and he passed away in Sept of 15. I've been blessed to have lived in many cities in this country as well as Germany and Spain. That was a great learning tool for the kids. I was fortunate enough to go to community college in New York, during the 5 years we lived there. That gave me the accounting background to work in that field. Paul and I decided to move from Seattle to Dallas, OR, when he retired in 02. I tried retirement for 2 years, but was bored out of my mind. I thought doing something completely different would be fun so I got a job in a casino. I worked there for just under 12 years, until retiring for good in July of 2016. I have 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. I had a "widow maker" heart attack in March 2018, which changed my lifestyle considerably but, I've had a good life.
