Ronald E. DeVore, 62, of Hernando, FL, died on September 10, 2010, in Lecanto, under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County. Ron was born on November 4, 1947, in Helena, Montana, the son of Edward and Juanita DeVore. He served in the U.S. Army. Ron was a graduate of the University of Montana. He retired as president and CEO of Terumo Medical Corporation. Ron and his wife Cheryl moved to Citrus County from Naples, FL, in 2006. He was an Elder, Stephen Minister and served as a leader on several church committees at the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness.
Mr. DeVore is survived by his wife Cheryl Devore, Hernando, FL; sons, Todd of Birmingham, AL, Ronnie of Seattle, WA, Jeff and his wife Mary of Ann Arbor, MI and Donnie of Denver, CO; and three grandchildren, Jeremy, Milo and Brittany. Ron will be sorely missed by all who loved and admired him.
Funeral services for Mr. DeVore will be held Friday, September 17, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness. Reverend Craig S. Davies will preside. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Ron's name to the , Citrus County Unit, P.O.
